Andy Staying At A Hotel

I got a hit on a ten dollar bill this afternoon that I enter over two years ago. I worked at a hotel and I would enter the bills in the cash drawer there. I gotten some hits off the bills I have entered doing that time.

It is great to get a hit from a hotel and airports. You do not know where the next hit will happen. These are places where people are most likely travels miles away to their next destination. It is always good to get a hit after two years or for on a bill.

Another Hit On A Hundred

This morning I received a hit on Hundred dollar bill I had entered on Where's George? This hit came just short of 90 days that the bill been out in the wild. The person who hit the bill got it at a hotel I see almost everyday when I go home from work.

This is the second time I got a hit on hundred. Here is the other hundred I got a hit on. I can not wait for my next hit on a hundred dollar.

Ten Miles In Four Years

I got a hit on a bills tonight that traveled 10 miles in 4 years. It is always fun to get a hit on a bill that has been out there for several years. This bill must love the Raleigh, North Carolina area. I wonder where it has been hiding?

This has been a great week with hits. It was not hard which hit to share this week for the Hit of the Week with this international hit. I wonder where this dollar will go next. Since it is in Scotland now maybe it will head down south and see the Olympics in London, England.

Hit Of The Week: June 23 - June 29, 2012

This week's, Hit of the Week, was on a ten dollar bill I used to pay my power bills a couple months ago. There is one lady that works at the place where I pay my power bill that fusses about my bills being stamped. I try not to go through her when I pay my power bill. The other people there do not fuss. I had gotten so good hits off the bills I use to pay my power bill. I have adjusted the way I stamp my bills I use to pay my power bill so if I have to go through the lady that fusses, she will not fuss about my bill. I only stamp that back of half the bills and still stamp both front and back of the other half. Doing this seems to have worked since she does not fuss now when I go through her. I have not seen her the last couple times I have gone in the payment place. Maybe I can go back to stamping my bills the way I normally do.

This hit is my first hit in Daytona Beach, Florida, my fourth hit in Volusia County, Florida, 54th hit for the State of Florida. I hope to get more hits is Florida since we have a lot of snow bird in this area. For those who do not know a snow bird is someone who lives in a northern state in the summer to avoid the heat of Florida and lives in Florida in the winter to avoid the cold and snow.

I had a hard time deciding on which hit to chose for this week's Hit of the Week, with the good hits I got this week. I decide on this hit from Poughkeepsie, New York. I have always liked the sound of Poughkeepsie. This was my nineteenth hit in the state of New York. It also gave me a new county, Dutchess County.

Hit Of The Week: June 2 - June 8, 2012

This week's Hit of the Week is the second hit on a bill. I got the first hit on the bill a little over two weeks ago. It seems to be hanging out in Mississippi. I hope to get another hit or two on it.

Hit of the Week: May 19 - May 25, 2012

This week, I got two hits in Mississippi. I was going to make the hit I got on Tuesday the hit of the week but last night I got an Alternate Hit in Mississippi on a bill I entered and spent while in the Philippines three years ago. An Alternate Hit is when someone re-enters a bill that they no longer have in their procession. Alternate Hits do not court towards your George Score. I am glad to see that some of the bills a used in the Philippines are making there way back to the United States. Here is Hit #870, which was a hit on another bill I entered while in the Philippines that made it all the way to Florida.

I decided to start picking one hit a week as the Hit of the Week. The week will run from midnight of Saturday to midnight the following Friday. I think I said the right.

International Hit: South Africa

I love getting international hits. I got this hit today in South Africa. I wonder how it got all the way to South Africa after I used it to pay my rent. Maybe it will make it's way back to the United States.

Hit On A 1963B Series Bill

I like entering older bills onto Where's George?, to see if they get good hits. This morning, I got a hit on a 1963B series bill that I entered in September of this year. I do not have many hits of the older bills I guess it is because there is so few of them. I only have two 1963B entered on Where's George? this hit gives me a 50 percent hit rate for 1963B series bills.

Two Hits On The Fourth Of July

I am happy to report that I got two hits on the Fourth of July. The first hit was on a ten dollar bill I used this weekend. The second hit was on a dollar bill I entered over ten years ago. The hit on it was for 8 Years, 332 Days, 21 Hours, and 3 Minutes and I think that is my new longest sleeper. A sleeper is a bill that is hit that was entered or hit a long time ago. I am glad to see some of my old bills are still out there. I hope to see more hits soon both short and long sleeper hits.
